Our body is a vehicle for the soul. Physically, our body is one with the universe and is composed of matter. It is no different from a flower, or a wild animal.  It is our knowledge of our own existance, that is the mystery.  What is this knowledge?  a soul? a spirit? To realize ones own mysterious existance is enilightenment.  To continue to realize this is the challenge of life.
